Morganite
Morganite, originally known as pink Beryl, was named after the enthusiastic gem lover J. P. Morgan. Found in 1911 on the coast of Madagascar it embodies a magical charm and romance that is hard to resist. They are cousins of the well-known Emerald and Aquamarine, which belong to this same Beryl family. With its attractive, feminine soft shades of pink, rose, peach, purple and salmon it has taken gem and jewelry lovers by storm.
Stones found in the location of Brazil have a calm, salmon, peachy pink appearance, which is in contrast to Morganites found in Madagascar, where colors tend to be fresher and more intense, often having an almost candy-like pink appearance.
